Culture / Cultural Organization as a Core CompetenceCompanies tend to focus on strategies, such as marketing (set targets, advertising, events, etc), production, finance, and so on. In general, they ignore the norms, habits, or even the culture of a company. I think it is very unusual person because many factors / elements which should continue to be noted.

At this opportunity, I want to try to remind (because in general the company had known about this) that organizational culture is important for an organization.

First, it must be known in advance about the advantages of a company's first (usually referred to as core competences). Core competences is an advantage that is in a company so the company could have a performance on a particular field that exceeds the other companies (usually referred to as Distinctive Competences).

Core competences are not coming by itself, but must be designed by the company. Core competences come from 2 sources (in the discussion this time), namely

1. Specialized resources that can be a particular skill of the function (functional skills) or skills possessed by the organization (usually from the top management skills).

1. Coordination abilities. Is the ability of a company to manage / organize functional and organizational resources so that resources can be used effectively and efficiently.

I think personally, in the second source of corporate core competences, there is 1 resource that plays an important role, namely the human factor. And of course, humans can only work optimally if supported by a conducive corporate culture.

Robin Sharma in his book The Greatness Guide writes

"One of the most competitive advantages can dipertahanan is to develop what I call the Cultural Leadership, because all actions are driven by corporate culture. Your competitors will imitate your product if the product is good. They also will imitate your service. They will imitate your logo, but they can never emulate your culture. And your culture is the only thing that makes your organization's Special. Your organization's culture is something that determines and then push the standards of behavior. For me, culture is king. "

Because culture is a determining how firm behavior, then develop a culture is also a good fit with your business each.
